"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born." - Anais Nin
Ryan Carlo E. Arcilla
When we were sophomores, I thought of Ryan being a man of sincerity, fidelity and laughter. These are the descriptions that I could entitle this young man. He is very versatile. Though I always tease him to be boastful, I know that he is the most humble person that I have met. He is really one of a kind. But, what I do not like about him is that sometimes he is way too insensitive. If he does improve the latter, he would be the most perfect gentleman that girls would really love to adore. He will always have my trust.
After atleast two years, I have come to know this person a little more. Through time, he had change. Now, I see him as a completely funny guy, yet his thoughts are at times too vague. Vague, in the sense that you need to dig deep in order to see what he wants you to see. Yet, at times, he usually show his feelings through his facial expressions, not to mention when he turns red just like a tomato whenever an unexpected thing happens.
Catrina Joyce A. Arellano
A very beautiful person inside and out is the most notable characteristic of Cathy. She is very kind; most probably the kindest in our section. She is very sensitive to the feelings of other people. She shares everything that they have. Moreover, she never fails to mingle to everyone regardless to what societal status they belong. But, what I really want this girl to practice is the art of expressing herself more to other people. I hope that in time, she would be afraid to open up her feelings to other people. With that, she would surely become the one of the most beautiful butterfly of our generation.
Two years have passed, yet there is still nothing negative that I could say for this girl. She is still so gentle and sweet just as I knew her before. Her kind words and acts make every person in the room love her so much. I could say that if we will be having an elimination for being rude or mean, she will be the last person to be voted out. Yet, at times, because of her kindness, she tends to prioritize other people more than she prioritize herself. This is the reason why at times, she suffers. I saw her cry. Yet, even though she's angry, she does not complain. Again, just what I have said before, I hope that she would overcome her fear of opening up.
Omar Rushlive L. Arellano
The silence and depth of his thoughts makes Omar misunderstood most of the time. But the kindness of his heart explains his persona more than what everybody else sees him into. He is multi-talented but sometimes he does not know his priorities. What I want him to find out is the ability to maximize his time. Also, I also like him to learn how to open his heart to every person around him. I want him to know that there are people out there who are trustworthy whom will never leave him no matter what. As for me, I have accepted him for who he is disregarding his shortcomings and great skills. He is my friend and will be my friend no matter what.
After two years with Omar, i have seen his improvement. I can say that he has matured a little bit. He can already go on his own during our RLE duties, even at our SLMC rotations without getting scared. Also, he already verbalize what he feels though, at times, he point out some irrational ideas which make other people mad. Yet, I can say that I salute his utmost efforts to change himself for the better.
Nowenikko A. Arguelles
He is the most silent person that I knew. But right now, I’m glad that he knows how to open up already. I know that he had been into so much that he, most of the times, just does everything in a form of joke. With this, others tend to not take him seriously. But, I want him to know that I will always reach unto him so that I would know him better. I want to let him shine for I believe that he has a lot to offer. I want him to realize that he has the capabilities to become one of the best. He just needs to believe in himself.
Happily, after two years, I can now talk to Noki in a serious manner. He, at the very least, had opened up some of his great childhood experiences. I could also ask him for some pieces of advice and most of the times, I could rely on him especially during our RLE duties. I know that this kind guy would have a great future. He just have to develop the confidence and the courage to be what he needs to become.
Agnetha Leah B. Ariota
The most opinionated lass that I have met, Agnetha is very vocal about her feelings towards other people. She is very kind although others fail to see it in her. She also knew what is good and what is bad. She is worth a million. Every person is very lucky to have her in their lives. Nothing more and nothing less.
Agnetha, surprisingly, had changed her attitude after two years. now she is more calm and reserved. She always smiles especially when she is with her close friends. She does not anymore take other's comment negatively. Instead, she uses them in order to grow into an intelligent lady. She never fails to make me laugh. Yet at times, I am being pissed off with her naughty side. But, I totally love her as my friend as of the moment.
“What I have in my college life are my friends around me. They are my strongest points. They are my sword and I am their scabbard. Destiny may separate us but they will always be at the bottom of my heart.”
COMMUNITY DUTY
Maybe, one of the most enjoying duty that we have had are our duties in the communities of Kamandag and Pagrai in Antipolo. Fun? Yes, as for me, because this is the duty wherein we had the time to know each other- the people who we really are especiallyy when dealing with our unfortunate brothers and sisters.
